Adams Stepner Member, Claire E. Parsons, published an article in this month’s issue of For the Defense, the flagship publication of DRI. Ms. Parsons’ article is entitled “Three Mindfulness Tools to Help You Care for Your Brilliant Legal Mind” and provides an overview of mindfulness strategies that attorneys can use to reduce stress, improve focus, and do their best to represent clients. Claire is a member of several DRI committees, including DRI for Life, which promotes wellness for DRI attorneys. Claire has an active meditation practice and credits mindfulness strategies with helping her to balance family and community obligations and her litigation, general counsel, and local government practice. As a result, she writes and speaks frequently on the topic of mindfulness for professionals and attorneys.
