Olivia F. Amlung has been an associate attorney at the firm since June 2017. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and is currently working toward licensure in the State of Ohio. Olivia is a member or the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, primarily focusing on claims involving personal injury, government defense, criminal defense, and a variety of other miscellaneous matters. She also provides contract review and general advising services for local businesses, cities, and governmental entities.
Olivia graduated from the University of Louisville in 2013 with honors and continued her education at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, graduating in 2016. In law school, Olivia was a fellow with the Glenn M. Weaver Institute for Law & Psychiatry, as well as an active member of the Moot Court Honor Board, a Senior Articles Editor for the Human Rights Quarterly, President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Club, and Chair of the Student Legal Education Committee. Additionally, Olivia was the 2016 recipient of the Jorge Carro Consummate Advocate Award for Outstanding Skill and Dedication to the Moot Court Program Award, as well as awarded the Order of the Barristers.
Prior to joining the firm, Olivia worked at the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for the 54th Judicial Circuit and as a staff attorney to Circuit Court Judge Richard Brueggemann. Using this experience, Olivia is uniquely situated to help her clients in all areas of the law.

Because of her passion for students and experiences growing up in our fantastic local public schools, Olivia Amlung has developed a practice in representing school districts and school district employees. Olivia has experience providing legal guidance and support to Boards of Education, Superintendents, Principals, Teachers, and other staff spanning both county school districts and independent school districts.

Olivia Amlung is a life-long resident of Boone County, where she currently lives with her husband, Justin, and their two dogs, Votto and Larkin.
Olivia is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Defense Counsel, and various other legal organizations. She currently serves on the Editorial Committee for the NKBA’s publication, Lex Loci, and as the Education Project Coordinator for the KBA’s Young Lawyer’s Division.
Passionate about the community’s youth, Olivia actively volunteers with multiple leadership programs focusing on the professional and personal development of local high school students. Following this passion, she often takes an active role volunteering with the Boone County Schools, the Boone County Education Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce, and various local political groups. In her spare time, Olivia can often be found attending local community events, practicing in her church’s worship band, or spending time with family and friends.
